Heft Enterprises Inc. was started more than 30 years ago. We started only building special optometry cabinets for eye doctors before expanding to the commercial market and growing the business into the custom cabinetry and millwork shop it is today.

We, staff in-house engineers, are readily available to work with you from your initial concept to the reality of your final ideal project. We offer several options for shop drawing services depending on your needs. Fabrication is done at our facility in Covington, Georgia, which allows us to constantly monitor, change, and control the design and quality of our product. When your product has met our exact quality specifications and your ideal outcome, we ship the product to your location and complete the install if desired.

HEI Medical Cabinets are specifically designed to meet the storage and work surface needs of private practice offices, clinics and hospital areas. Available in a variety of standard sizes, HEI Medical Cabinets have easy-clean, durable laminate surfaces, doors and drawers with load capacities up to 75 lbs. In addition, all cabinets can be custom designed and fitted so that they can be installed quickly and easily.
Medical offices are busy environments with doors and drawers being opened more frequently than other office settings. This requires quality, long-lasting, full extension, ball bearing drawer runners. It also requires hinges that open 125 degrees and handicap hinges that open 170 degrees. Many of these environments including dialysis clinics need chemical resistant laminate, no drip edges on countertops, and the use of solid surface materials. Dental clinics need certain space requirements for equipment such as sterilization machines. Physiotherapy clinics have ADA height requirements along with rounder corners on countertops and space for hydroculator machines.
